a unique black strip (called a thermal barrier) placed
down the middle of each structural member eliminates the
one negative attribute of aluminum -heat and cold
transfer.
The Structural Thermal Barrier Provides:
- 9 times more thermal value
- 7 times less likely to condensate
- Dramatically reduces the transfer of heat and
cold while maintaining the great benefits of an
aluminum structure
Tuff Core -Comes standard for all rooms
Tuff-Core is made of expanded polystyrene, the same
material used in freezer walls, refrigerators, coolers,
etc. The energy conserved in heating and cooling quickly
pays for itself. To compare its insulating capabilities
to other materials, 3" of Tuff-Core is equivalent to:
- 8" of fiberglass
- 15" of hardwood
- 72" of brick
